2004 - Spring
The Urban Dreams Video Project sent filmmakers into Oakland Public High School classrooms at Oakland Tech, Skyline High, and Castlemont High to mentor teachers and students during the production of videos about human or civil rights and/or social justice. The results of their hard work are socially conscious video projects that focus on issues important to Oakland youth. In addition to being streamed on the web, these award-winning videos have screened at festivals, been broadcast on KDOL TV and disseminated on CD-ROM. To view these documentaries, please click here.
